How it began

Early in 2001, friends began a journey which would lead them to a greater understanding of “self” and how to put some of their life experiences into publications that can help others. The results of their work are three publications.

CaringConcepts, Inc., was incorporated by the state of Nebraska in December 2003. The mission of the organization is to be an entity that develops and distributes publications (and other products) that will assist caregivers and members of the general public. Managing partners are Patricia R.Callone, M.A., M.R.E. and Connie Kudlacek, B.S.

As medical technology and science have improved, our population has grown older and the incidences of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia have increased. Bodies may be able to grow older with the help of medicine, but there is no cure in sight for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
